Visit of the Observatory of Territorial Rights to Chaluayaco: the land of fish

Ka'tikunsi-La Voz de los Territorios

The National Commission of Indigenous Territories (CNTI) accompanied the Association of Inga Cabildos (Indigenous traditional authority) of Villagarzón Putumayo (ACIMVIP) in its journey to strengthen the «chaskis» or Indigenous Caretakers of the Colombian Amazon. In this activity, carried out in the Inga Resguardo Chaluayaco, work was also done on the recognition and appropriation of the ancestral territory in order to preserve it.
