Two videos on the cultural and spiritual defense of the Inga territory
On March 18, 2025 Verdad Abierta published two videos with the Inga People, part of the project «Disinformation and stigmatization: changing local narratives in Colombia», implemented by Protection International and VerdadAbierta.com with support from the European Union. «ACIMVIP: resisting stigmatization for defending our culture» shows that organizing to keep cultural traditions alive has brought stigmatization to the organization. «Yagé: taking the remedy for territorial protection» tells how the Inga Indigenous Resguardo of Albania has turned to yagé to bring harmony to its community in the face of armed conflict and extractive projects.
